I woke up early one morning and went down stairs for breakfast. The rest of the family were already up. Mum was up loading the washing machine, and dad was watering the plants on the dining room table. i walked in an greated mum
With a kiss on the cheek "morning mum" i said
She returned a smile. "Are you busy today hunny?" she questioned.
I smiled back and said "No quite quiet today im not doing my deliveries, why what did you have in mind" i added.
"Your father decided that the beach would be a nice place to go today, and because we havent spent much time these holidays - a day at the beach was in order!" she laughed
I nodded and went upstairs to pack my things for the day. A towel, odds n ends and especially accessories such as sun block, n shades.
The family were ready within the hour, and i helped my younger brother load stuff into the car.
"You got your walkman" i asked him
"Yes thats all packed Dickhead!" he replied
"Geez look just lighten up will you" i shouted
My brother n i never really saw eye to eye. But thankfully the travel to the beach wasnt much longer than an hour. We were really there in no time atall. I slept most of the way, for i was up partying the night before. You could smell the sea straight away as we left the car.
Dad payed for the ticket, and i grabbed the things from the car - today was a day i was to enjoy. I was a typical teenager, and considered always my parents to be embarissing. They wouldnt be like any other family.
Anyhow, digression aside, we walked through the town center and headed towards the beach. Along they way we noticed that it was slowly but surley getting quieter, and quieter.
"Where is everybody" questioned my mother
"Especially for a bank holiday you would expect loads!" he replied
Sure enough as we continued towards the beach - it became deserted.
"Why arnt we going to the one we went last time?" questioned my brother as we reached what seemed like woods.
